The Tucson real estate market got harder on buyers last month. Inventory fell significantly for the second straight month, and the spike in sales we saw in March held steady, putting increased pressure on buyers.
In our own business, we've had multiple offer situations several times in the past two months, in all price ranges. Overall, buyers who are shopping in the $100,000 - $200,000 price band will be most likely to encounter competition for a house; marketwide, there are only two months of inventory in that range, increasing the possibility of multiple offers.
