AZ Daily Star Readers’ Choice Released

The Arizona Daily Star has released the results of its first Readers' Choice poll. The poll was similar to the long-running Tucson Weekly "Best of Tucson" award, where community members go online to vote for their favorites in a large range of categories.

Votes were counted for nearly every category you can imagine - best restaurants, best martinis, best local sports team, best plumber. The full results were published in a special section of the Sunday, September 27 paper; you can also see the full results here.

Thanks to all our clients and friends who voted for Jeff in the Best Real Estate Agent category!

August 2015 Tucson Housing Market

As it has been for the last several months, we are still describing the Tucson housing market as "warm, but not hot."

Monthly sales are still increasing year over year, prices are going up, and days on market are stable right around 60-65 days.

Most importantly for sellers, the number of houses on the market has been consistently lower than the previous year. Last August, there were 5,155 houses for sale, and this year that number has dropped to 4,758.

Fewer houses on the market = less competition from other houses on the market.

View our full Tucson housing data report, including area-specific data, for August 2015.
